The game is divided up into two different gameplay sections. On the Wii and PlayStation 3, Aragorn's Quest is an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective. Aragorn's weapon selection is on the bottom left Gandalf's power-up spell reference is on the bottom right.

Two-player mode in the PS3 version of the game. It received mixed reviews the game's graphics, level design and accessibility were praised, but critics found the combat repetitive, the narrative too truncated and the overall game too easy. The game was aimed primarily at younger players, offering a simplified and less violent version of the plots of the three films.

Aragorn's Quest was the first Lord of the Rings game released by WB Games, who had acquired the rights to make games based on the New Line Cinema film series from Electronic Arts in 2009. Set fifteen years after the War of the Ring, the game features Samwise Gamgee telling his children of the adventures of Aragorn during the conflict his stories form the majority of the game's content. The game is an adaptation of Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings film trilogy The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), The Two Towers (2002) and The Return of the King (2003). The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest is an action-adventure video game released in 2010 by WB Games on various Nintendo and Sony platforms, with Headstrong Games developing a Wii version and TT Fusion developing the game on other platforms. Also, unlike many of the other sets, it doesn’t have a modular feel to it, this is a stand-alone playset.Action role-playing game (PS2 and handhelds) Overall, it’s a fine set but it still felt pricey for what you get. The parts I didn’t use, including the capes: Oddly, they included two flick-fire missiles:

The set opens up to show detail on the inside: The way they curved the walls is nice, and you can tell all the different pieces they used to add detail: Probably my favorite minifig head at the moment: Good detail for such a small part of the set: The Wringwraiths, horses, and little rock:

I love the colors in this set, lots of dark green: Like the Mines of Moria, the set offers great detail in the building style, and clearly meant to be displayed by adult collectors. That black horses in future sets will have different markings on the head and eyes. The horses seem to only be available in this set, and because of the red in the eyes, I am wondering if they are exclusive to this set. The real key to this set and the $60 outlay is getting Merry. Two of them are Ringwraiths which offer little detail, and two other characters can be found in other sets. This set definitely felt more expensive than it should have been: $60 for a small set with 5 minifigs. Today we take a look at another LEGO Lord of the Ring set, #9472 Attack on Weathertop.
